A couple of weeks ago we had the local fair here in the small town of Rockford Washington! My adorable niece Sofie Marie, with the help of her awesome Aunt Kari, who has always seen her talents and her gifts as extraordinary, decided to do a face painting booth for children! It was weeks in preparation, practicing painting techniques, purchasing high quality paints from England, coming up with designs, creating an awesome booth display, and just generally working hard to do what needed to be done for success!! My awesome sister Kristi pitched in her talents to help create the booth! She brought her fun spirit for dress up to the party with a photo props section that folks could use to take i phone pictures throughout the day!

The day of the fair was a bright and beautiful fall day, really the kind of day fall dreams are made of! i stopped by the fair just a couple of hours after it had opened to see what was going on! It was so much fun! Sofie was busy painting away! There were adorable children running around with amazing art on their sweet faces! I was enchanted and spent the next day and a half watching and photographing as she created and painted! The booth was a hit, and Sofie painted graciously for hours and hours and hours!! It didn't take long for word to get out once people saw the children running around with all their adorableness!
The highlight of the day was when my own precious grandchildren stopped by to get their faces painted! It was so much fun to see the joy and the fun they experienced as they got painted up! I am so proud of Sofie and her amazing talent! Paint on Sweet Sofie girl! You are a star!!!
